Experience the Beauty of Traditional Quechua Artistry
Discover the timeless elegance and cultural richness embodied in our hand-woven wool tapestry, crafted meticulously by skilled Quechua artisans in Ecuador. Each tapestry is a masterpiece, representing centuries of weaving tradition passed down through generations. With intricate patterns and vibrant colors inspired by nature and Quechua heritage, this tapestry is not just home decor—it’s a story waiting to be told.
The tapestry is hand-woven from 100% wool, ensuring exceptional quality and longevity. Wool is renowned for its durability, softness, and natural warmth, making it perfect not only for beautifying your living space but also for creating a cozy ambiance without polluting your environment with off-gassing mass-produced goods.
I was initially attracted to this tapestry by its bright pink with dark red, purple, and black in the pattern of alternating ducks and fish. What an awesome color combination. Its vibrant yet harmonious design can complement rustic, contemporary, or eclectic decor, making it a versatile piece to brighten and personalize your space.
This tapestry measurs 41.5 inches long by 25 inches wide. The hanging loops add an extra 1.5 inches, while the tassels contribute an additional 4.75 inches, creating a total length of 47.25 inches. Its generous yet manageable dimensions ensure that it fits beautifully in a variety of spaces, whether hung above furniture or as a centerpiece on an empty wall.
Two dowel ends are included with this tapestry that fit a 7/16 inch diameter dowel. Dowel not included.
