Whether you’re headed out for a casual outing or layering up for extra warmth, this poncho ensures that you look and feel your best.  This is one of our favorite ponchos, handmade in the workshop of Rosa and Raul in the Boyaca Department of Colombia.   We purchase our ponchos directly from the maker families, who set the prices themselves. This poncho is 69 inches long and 49 inches wide.  Ponchos like this one can be used for keeping warm inside the  house to save money on heating costs, or whatever else you need to do and be warm doing it.

Washing instructions:  Dry clean or spot cleaning.  Wool is naturally stain-resistant and will shed light rain.  It can be washed in cool water on the hand wash or delicate cycle of your machine, but it can shrink and felt.  The poncho will continue to keep you warm, even when wet.  Dry flat on towels to preserve its shape.  Moths are an issue with wool, make sure to moth-proof before storing.
